Regents Park to London Bridge WalkSunday 18th April 2004
Twelve of us arrived at Regents Park on one of the wettest days of the year to walk thirteen miles from Regents Park to London Bridge. Not only did we have torrential rain to contend with, but also, The London Marathon was in full swing. However, this did not deter us from our objective of completing the walk. Along the way we handed out leaflets and jangled our buckets. Thank you to Jonathan, Kate, Colin, Sheena, Lise, Hester, Joanne, Catherine, Philippa and Ken for taking the time out to help John at this critical time. Thanks also must go to those members of the public who took the time to read our leaflets and helped by giving us their spare change. Again, deepest thanks to those who turned up to help John.
